"You know, if a role is well-written it will work for either sex I think, unless it’s a love story or something," she said. "I actually think there’s so many women in these positions now that it really shouldn’t make a difference. Thinking of it as a male executive who’s obsessed with women’s breasts, are they real or not, is funny. I think having a woman executive who probably has fake breasts being obsessed with whether women’s breasts are real or not and talking about it, I think that’s funnier. Whatever women have done to the workplace, it has certainly not humanized it.

Tight money to slow down growth, says CII
NEW DELHI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Friday warned that any further tightening of money supply by the Reserve Bank of India would trigger a slowdowm of the economy. "There are already emerging signals in the form of slowdown in the automotive sector and retail banking,'' CII President R. Seshasayee said in a statement here. Mr. Seshasayee said that while inflation control was legitimately at the top of the national agenda, "it is important that growth is not traded off in the bargain.'' The RBI recently announced another increase of 25 basis points in the repo rate (the rate at which RBI lends short-term money to banks) to 7.75 per cent and increased the cash reserve ratio to 6.5 per cent from 6 per cent. The central bank's move would suck up Rs. 15,000 crore liquidity from the system.
Bedbugs bounce back: Outbreaks in all 50 states

Nearly eradicated in the United States 50 years ago, resistant strains of "super" bedbugs are infesting mattresses at an alarming rate. In what's being touted as the biggest mystery in entomology, all 50 states are reporting outbreaks of the blood-sucking nocturnal critters. Pest control companies nationwide reported a 71 percent increase in bedbug calls between 2000 and 2005. Left alone, a few bedbugs can create a colony of thousands within weeks. "We never treated bedbugs until 2002. Now we have a dedicated bedbug crew working on this every day," said Luis Agurto, president of Pestec in San Francisco.
